Trauma Sensitive Warrior Yoga Class
New to the spring group fitness schedule! We’re introducing a specialized yoga class for all who have experienced any kind of trauma, but all are welcome. This practice allows us to learn how to free troubling emotions, persevering thought patterns, chronic somatic tension and hyper vigilance through concentrated breathing and slow-moving asanas, as well as meditation and mindfulness exercises in a safe and trusting environment.
Class will be held at Wilson’s Fitness on Forum in the Hot Yoga Studio (No heat will be added for this class) on Wednesdays 12-1PM, or Tuesdays 7:45-8:45PM in the Mind & Body Studio. *All Veterans with a valid ID are invited to attend at no cost.
