No, we will place them in events that we feel can give them the most success. You will know what they are swimming by Saturday July 7th @5pm

Do you need volunteers?
Yes! Among other duties, we will be required to time two lanes. I will send out the sign up genius once CCMO gets it to me.

There will be two District meets with 4 teams each.

Ribbons will be given for places 1-6.

Top 6 swimmers in each district event + next fastest 6 in the league will advance to the all-star meet (18 total per event).

Top 2 Beach Club relays in each relayed event will advance to the All-Star Meet.

6 and unders will NOT participate in the All-Star meet, instead, the District meet will be their championship meet and they will be given medals for top 3 finishes.

Swimmer must attend an average of 2 practices per week and compete in 2 meets prior to the District Meet.

Maria BrandtMaria Brandt is the Snapper’s head swim team coach! She loves the sport of swimming and it’s been a big part of her life growing up. She was swimming before she was 6 years old!  She swam competitively on the Tsunami Swim Team in Kansas City, and was an all-state/all-conference swimmer in high school setting 2 school records. As much as Maria loves swimming, she loves instructing children even more! She is an 8th grade math teacher and resides in Columbia with her husband.  Maria and her coaching team are excited for this season and are ready to meet this year’s swimmers!
