Adam Everson

Adam Everson

blankAdam is a personal trainer, certified through the American Council on Exercise (ACE), and teaches Kettle Circuit, TRX, and TBW classes.  He started at Wilson’s in 2018 but was an instructor for three years prior.  Adam has been active his whole life, but it wasn’t until 2015 when he decided to dedicate himself to learning more about the science behind exercise and fitness.  He is also a mental health professional with experience in exercise psychology.  His mental health training has provided insight into behavior change and motivation that he uses in his teaching.

Adam loves seeing people succeed and find enjoyment in exercise.  In his classes, he always tries to incorporate some level of education, whether its what something is, or why the class is doing it.  “Knowledge is one of the most empowering gifts you can give someone, so I always incorporate education as a means of empowering my class.”  The other part that is so rewarding about teaching is the social circle it develops.  “Just through shared experiences and proximity, you get to know the people you see every week for class without even meaning to. When someone is gone, you notice it!  So for anyone looking to find a program to stick it, I recommend coming to a weekly class!  You will begin to build those connections, and you’ll quickly find those friends will hold you accountable.”  Also, Adam enjoys a good laugh so expect at least a handful of jokes every time you take one of his classes!
