RUNNING
The Running Program consists of protocols that Athletic Republic has scientifically designed, tested and implemented on athletes ranging from middle school to professional levels.  The program is a 3-times per week for 8-weeks.   

The sprinting program drives athletes to reach optimal speed by increasing stride length and stride frequency.  The use of the Generation II Super Treadmill, as well as the use of the Athletic Republic's patented Sprint CordsTM, will increase stride length and stride frequency as well as increase lactate tolerance and lactate clearance, which results in the ability to run faster and longer.

Improved lower body biomechanics is another aspect of athletic enhancement gained from the Generation II Super Treadmill.  The incline capabilities help each athlete learn and maintain knee drive, proper pelvic and trunk position, optimal stride length, and stride efficiently to coordinate the upper extremity movements.
  
As with all Athletic Republic Acceleration sports training programs, safety is one of our top concerns.  A Wilson’s Acceleration by Athletic Republic trainer will be there to provide direction and to spot the athlete during all treadmill work.  The treadmill has specifically designed safety equipment that allows athletes to train their agility in multiple planes.


PLYOMETRICS

Plyometric exercises are activities that enable muscle to obtain maximal force in the shortest/quickest time.  The plyometric protocols are designed to develop power, especially the quickness/speed component of power in the lower body.
The protocols have been scientifically tested.  The application of protocols designed to increase horizontal and vertical movements will improve an athletes, power, agility, reaction time and proprioception. 
The other plyometric program utilizes the Plyo Press.  The Plyo Press is a combination of leg strengthening and plyometrics.  This uniquely designed piece of equipment allows for the safest possible training.  This exercise increases leg power, lower body explosiveness and quickness.
The patented Sprint CordsTM are also utilized in the plyometrics program.  The Sprint CordsTM provide resistance to the ground based plyometric protocols, increasing neuromuscular response and proprioception.

READY, SET, GO…
Ready, Set, Go… is functional sports training to teach your young athlete proper techniques, increase physical activity, and enhance their athletic ability.  This program will incorporate agility, theraband work, core stabilization, and flexibility thru fun training and games.  Ready, Set, Go… is for young athletes ages 10 to 14 years old who are willing to make the 2-times per week, 6-weeks commitment.  Call for details and sign your young athlete up today!
